¿Quién soy?
Ilustradora, orgánica onírica psicodélica.
¡Hola! Que bueno verte por aquí. Me presento: soy Selket Yhay y soy una garabatera compulsiva. Un huracán de ideas siempre ha rondado por mi cabeza, siempre me acompaña cierto caos, que es parte de mi esencia sensible y creativa. A lo que me refiero, es que soy de esas personas que se la pasa dibujando, todo el tiempo.
En todos mis apuntes, cuadernos y cualquier superficie que tenga a la mano (eso ha incluido seres vivos) siempre hay una maraña de líneas orgánicas. Soy la loca de los sketch books, que ya no caben en mi librero. “¡Deja de dibujar y pon atención!" ha sido un regaño recurrente durante toda mi vida. Y es que ilustrar me inspira y envuelve en un viaje de colores, siempre busco derramar sobre el papel cada cosa que vivo, observo y siento .
Soy mitad mariposa, mitad escorpión.
Lic. en Diseño Gráfico, mexicana, ilustradora, fotógrafa, autodidacta y curiosa de las artes y ciencias sociales.
Tengo también estudios en pintura renacentista y psicología.

Hi! So nice to see you here. Let me introduce myself: I'm Selket Yhay, and I'm a compulsive doodler. A hurricane of ideas have always been prowling in my head, chaos is my companion, that's part of my creative and sensitive nature. What I'm trying to tell is that, I'm that kind of people who is drawing all the time.
In every notebook I have, any surface in hand (that includes human beings), there are this entangled organic lines. I'm that crazy sketch-books lady, with no place for them in my already filled bookshelf. “Stop drawing and pay attention!" has been a recurrent scold my whole life. It's just that illustrating and creating inspire and envelope me in a colorful ocean, and makes me want to imprint on paper every single thing I live, observe and feel.
I'm half butterfly, half scorpion,
I'm a Mexican Graphic Designer, illustrator, photographer, self-taught curious person who also enjoys other arts and social sciences.
I also studied Renaissance painting and psychology.
